Our financial advice process follows six waymarks, which includes our ongoing service. This means that when your situation, needs or objectives change, we will be right on hand to keep you on the right path.

1. Establish our relationship

The first step is to get to know you as a person or a family; your worries, goals and aspirations, whether short or long term. We always begin the financial planning process with a face to face meeting.

2. Assess your current situation and agree your financial destination and goals

We will then coach you as we explore your most pressing needs and goals for the future. Naturally, we will also complete a discovery document to establish your current financial position and assess your attitude to risk.

3. Provide analysis and a written plan, setting out how to achieve your goals

The next step is the creation of your bespoke financial plan. Once we know your goals, we will get in touch with the relevant organisations to build a full picture of your financial situation, including your pensions, savings and investments. We use cash flow software to bring your financial future to life; visually demonstrating a strategy that takes you from where you are to where you want to be.

4. Present our recommendations and agree the way forward

We will present our findings and recommendations, ensuring you are made aware of the implications of any decision you make. Once you are completely happy with the plan we have put together, we will explain the next steps. It is at this stage that we take responsibility for the advice we have given you.

5. Implement the recommendations, using relevant specialists where appropriate

Your financial plan is only as effective as its implementation; you can leave the hard work to us. We contact providers and handle all the paperwork.

6. Ongoing service, to keep you on track

Life is full of changes, so your financial plan must be able to recover from any bumps in the road and reflect your success. Our ongoing service includes annual face to face meetings where we can account for any changes to your personal circumstances or aspirations that might affect your plan.
